What would make this photo stand out of the nearly 5000 images I captured this week? Well, it is a cool shot. And it did stand out. (Maybe it’s Mike Urbanik’s red cleats…)
I picked this photo because it hammered home to me just what is going to be possible this year with the new equipment we’ve invested in. Mike was at least 40 yards away from me, yet I can see the sweat on his brow, read the stitching on his jersey, and read the hand-written scrawl on the ball. The reach we have and the detail we can capture now is simply mind-blowing. We can hardly wait to get out and shoot some more!
