what you need to know

Q.Can I buy prints?

A.Yes! All images are available for purchase in sizes ranging from 5×7 to 20×30! Please note, though, that images are available for personal, non-commercial use only. Some images may be available for editorial use, but you must contact me directly.

Q.Can I make commercial use of any images found here?

A.No. In accordance with NCAA rules and R-MC policy, these images are for personal use only.

Q.Can I make editorial use of images found here?

A.Maybe, but not without prior written permission. Please contact me directly to discuss your request.

Q.Can I share the images found here?

A.By all means, yes! Just make sure you are sharing the full page an image is on.

Q.Can I make my own prints?

A.No.

Q.Why not?

A.In addition to the 1000′s of hours we spend each year, roaming the sidelines in under all conditions, we also invest 1000′s and 1000′s of dollars each year in equipment and archival systems, in order to be able to capture, process, and maintain this photographic legacy. Each time someone steals a photo to make their own print, or uses a photo without permission, they are diminishing our ability to produce and preserve the Randolph-Macon athletics story. We truly appreciate your support and understanding.

Q.Can I get a copy of the digital file?

A.Yes! We offer a number of digital licenses, for everything from Facebook profiles to screensavers to images for you to make your own gift items.

Q.Do you offer packages?

A.Yes! When you view an image in the galleries, you’ll see the package options on the right hand side (along with a lot of other cool stuff!)

Q.Can I hire you to shoot my star?

A.Yes! Please contact me directly to discuss the details.

Q.What is the image quality like?

A.The absolute highest! We try not to publish any image that would not meet the most stringent photo editor’s requirements. Keep in mind, the images in the gallery are optimized for internet viewing, and are not necessarily representative of the high-quality image that will be printed for you. All of our prints are hand-edited to insure the best print possible. If, though, you order an image that we don’t think will make a great print, we’ll let you know before we print it.

Q.How long does it take to get my prints?

A.Usually 1-2 weeks for any orders placed directly through the website. Customized posters and collages may take 3-4 weeks, depending on the specifications.

Q.What if I don’t like it?

A.Send it back and you’ll get a refund.

Q.How long do you store the images?

A.Barring events beyond our control, forever! We do not delete anything that we publish, and we are constantly upgrading our archiving systems to ensure that our collections will be available on whatever platform is required by the current state of technology.
