This image was recognized as Best in Show - Non-Daily Photography at the Virginia Press Association's annual awards ceremony, held in Norfolk March 24, 2007. It was shot for the Hanover Herald-Progress last year to accompany an article about Randolph-Macon College swimmer Erin Ewalt, who had just been named Old Dominion Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year for the 4th consecutive year.
